Naturopathy integrates the wisdom of traditional healing with modern scientific knowledge. It is a system of holistic medicine that tailors treatment to the needs of the individual based upon the balance of physical, mental and emotional factors that contribute to our overall state of health.
Naturopathic philosophies are based upon the belief that the body possesses an innate intelligence and natural ability to heal itself and maintain balance & well being. A naturopath will attempt to identify and treat the underlying cause of illness, rather than temporarily suppress or alleviate symptoms.
Naturopathy supports and promotes health through education and using safe, gentle, natural medicines to restore balance and achieve & maintain optimal health.
